What is Pilates
Pilates is form of
body&mind exercises developed by Joseph Pilates to improve
overall health. Instead of mindless repetitions, it requires you
to focus our mind on individual muscles in your body so as to
strengthen and lengthen them. As you move, this concentration
and precision creates a body and mind connection. Every exercise
is performed with attention to the breath, proper form and
efficient movement patterns. This additional mental focus means
the muscles work to the maximum, so you get quicker and better
results.
Exercises are relatively safe, low impact and
appropriate for anyone. Pilates will give you fabulous
improvements in body and mind over time you practice it.
